ASM were invited to visit the offices of Montrose Port Authority with a view to looking at potential improvements to the property.

 

Following a site visit, it was agreed that the authority were not making the best use of available space and that a simple review would enable them to see what was required for their business, and would identify and free up potential letting space.

 

ASM carried out a space audit and prepared a revised layout plan for the Authority’s own offices, with minimal alterations to the existing partitioning and infrastructure.

 

The result was a surprise for the Port Authority, with approximately 45 % of their original office space freed up.

 

ASM carried out the necessary alterations over a two-week period in June 2010, and an additional bonus for the Port Authority was the almost immediate lease to a tenant of the free space created by the exercise.
